About Us

Mission Statement: We are a student run, non-profit, organization dedicated to the promotion of original student research through the publication of their manuscripts from all disciplines of science. It is through the transmission of knowledge that we grow both as individuals and as a community.

NOTE: The Journal of Emerging Scientists (JES) is currently undergoing some changes. We had a large number of excellent articles submitted in the 2008-2009 school year. It is unfortunate that - at this time - we are unable to post those articles that have been accepted. We hope to have the JES current and up to date soon. We thank you for your patience. The JES staff began preparations for its first issue; Vol. 1, No. 1. We are anticipating large audiences of students, educators, and professionals and are both pleased and excited to announce that The JES is now open to all student research! Please see the Information for Authors section for submission details.

Additionally, The JES accepts black and white photo submissions for the journal cover as well for the inner folds of the current hardcopy edition. Color submissions are also accepted for our online journal. For photo submissions, please see the Information for Photographers Section. Moreover, we accept research submissions in all disciplines of science (i.e., microbiology, ecology, physics, chemistry, genetics, geology, meteorology, marine biology, agricultural science, etc.) year round. To send in a submission, feel free to contact us at jes@jemergingscientists.org

For journal pricing and mailing, please contact jes.orders@jemergingscientists.org

There is a rolling deadline for all submissions.
